Hello! I'm Hannah Arant (she/her), and I'd be honored to do your hair.

I love to create haircuts with movement, like pixies and shags. I love a bit of an edge. I also love creating blondes, as well as bold and dimensional hair color. I have been in the industry 13+ years both behind the chair, and as a salon manager and educator. I worked 12 years at an Aveda Salon in Des Moines. In 2023, I took a moment to step back from behind the chair and learn more about myself and explore different passions, and it eventually I was called back in a new form- Illuminate Hair Space! 

I love to help you embrace your unique style, rather than trends or beauty standards. I love creating a safe, relaxing experience. For me, it's not just just about creating beautiful hair—it's about being a supportive and gentle light for others. It's about crafting an experience where you can unwind, share, and feel seen.
